De Iuliis Talga Road Shiraz 2014

His and hers (Steven) styles here.

More dense and gutsy than the Steven. Way more. And so captivating and delicious! It was great to put this and the Steven beside one another I must say. What a contrast.

The fruit here is a more juicier, deeper, and generous. Deep purple in appearance, this throws up plums, a wash of blueberry, slight chocolate with rustic earthy Hunter goodness for good luck. Warm in the mouth but this is more charming than obnoxious. Ridiculously long on the finish, it is hard to resist. I'm on my feet applauding.

Fabulous value for the asking price too. Cellar long term but drinking well now.

But here's the catch... Only 350 dozen were produced and all have been sold off to The Wine Society in Sydney as a members only exclusive. I'm guessing they could be getting some new members soon...

Excellent.
